Pro tip: just cover your soap bar in epoxy resin and it'll serve literally for decades.

Or use some sand paper instead and it will be yourself getting smaller and smaller.

Unironically yes. They add potassium to soap today, just enough to keep the brick form

Soap bags exist and are awesome. Also, do not leave your soap in the soap tray, unless the soap tray has drainage.
Otherwise you just get a soupy mess

That’s a-okay. It’s oversanding that’s the real issue.

Something similar happened to me: I ate food and the amount of food on my plate decreased. I mean, this has to be a scam, right?

Take your soap out of the box. Store it in the air for 1-2 months so that it cures. Your new harder soap will last longer.
But also it depends on which brand you buy. Brands like Dove don't last as long as others because they add air/bubbles to the soap mix.

Used to be a great sub until they relaxed the posting rules. Pretty much everything falls into one of 3 categories:
-
Really difficult questions with incredibly complex answers
-
Really ignorant/loaded questions like "Why doesn't [person/company/country] just [do something]"
-
Bait.

PRO TIP: Take your soap out of the box, store it in the open to dry. I will last 4x as long and work just as well.

This is the way.
But I will say, the cheaper soaps tend to crack and disintegrate and make this harder to do.

Don't take it out of the box! Then it won't shrink.
