What scale? Russia is already scraping the bottom of the barrel to deal with Ukraine.

Not having read the article, I assume it has to do with Russia firing a bunch of cheap junk that’s not very precise but can still be deadly and costs a lot less than most of the defenses used to destroy them, and can be sent in such large quantities that the defenses can’t get them all.

Add to that Russia doesn't need much money to make a drone that can do big damage and has an economy fully directed to that exact goal. So the bottom of the barrel could still be enough to be a problem.

Great summary! That's basically what they say. On both ballistic missiles and drones, Europe is nowhere near being able to shut down a major attack.

Of course, Europe under attack would not respond with the same forced restraint as Ukraine, that for the longest time wasn't allowed to strike within Russia.

Given Europe will be bombed after Ukraine falls, they better get it in gear.
