Huh, I’ve had this on iPhone for quite a while and use it often. I’m surprised we’ve had this before Android.

If you look at the history of releases of iPhone and Android Google apps, features usually come out on the iPhone first.

A couple of theories range from programming on iOS is easier to the iOS team is simply better.

Gmail is the first app that anyone should uninstall with Universal Android Debloater Next Generation and then one should install Thunderbird and live happy.

This is specifically about Gmail, Android has had this feature for a long time (though I'm not sure if it was before iOS).

I'll stick with FairEmail and call it a day.

Yeah I’ve had this feature with the Gmail app on iPhone for quite some time. I use it often on that and Yahoo Mail and Outlook in the same manner.

I’m saying I’m surprised that the Gmail app on iPhone had this before Android got it.
