No thank you. I don't want a swasticar.

I'd love to have one of those new production old style beetles. But we can't buy them here because our govt sucks donkey dick.

For what it was spec'd at originally, I think more people would have been willing to consider it than would like to admit, assuming the other trucks were still priced as is.

I'll admit it: a $30k EV with 600 miles of range? You'd be an idiot to not consider that, until it was proven to be bullshit and Elon was proven to be a full-on fascist.

Can you explain? I'm not much into cars, but that doesn't sound right to me. A quick Google suggests maybe you're referring to the open differential, but I don't think that means that only one wheel is powered.

They’re referring to an open differential. If you look at an open differential vehicle doing a burnout you will see that only one wheel is spinning.

                        I wouldn't say it was a failure.

It sold quite well considering its price.

The original specifications and price were never going to be met,

You hit the nail on the head. If it can't tow it's pretty useless as a truck. If someone doesnt tow they probably dont need a truck in the first place otherwise they are better off with a gas model. The unfortunate thing is that regulations have forced manufacturers to implement shitty ICE drivetrains. Everything is a turbo now which is "more efficient" but there is no way they will last as long as the naturally aspirated V6 or V8s that would go for 400-500k miles.

You do know that turbocharged engines don't rev as much don't you ? They last longer.

A 1.8L NA Atsra put out 92 kW at 6000 rpm. The 1.6L turbo version put out 134kW at 2800 rpm.

Which vehicles have that? The base cybertruck has two motors for AWD.

It's just to make OP feel smart. A single driven axle with an open differential with one wheel on more slippery ground than the other would result in only one wheel transferring torque.

They made Mexico city what it is. The beetle is legendary. And the program "hoy no circular" or "today you can't commute" was invented became too many people owned too many god dammed cars. So in the program they would allow you to use your car only in certain days. Additionally they modernized their metro system making it accessible for incredibly cheap. Not long ago for a few cents you could travel around the city a few stops. By comparison the trolley in sandiego is out dated as outdated can be and it only goes up and down the coast with only one rail heading east. Mexico city made a spider grid off they're system. Like from any peripheral location you can travel to the center or travel in the periphery towards another center bound rail. Its great. You can go anywhere without a god dammed car.

It's hard to find insurance for it, it's objectively terrible at it's job, that's very few mechanics that can service it, It isn't available in Europe, it has terrible quality control issues, It is made by a company with terrible customer service, and it is made by Nazi

So many reasons not to buy it.

Not really, but since we live in a world where most people are happily sharing their lives online it's easy to imagine how not using social media might make people think you have something to hide and, therefore, can't be trusted.

Few it fewer people are actually using Facebook and similar to share their lives because it just feels really intrusive.

Mostly because how much advertising is now showed down your throats.

If they want to know more about me I can share my camera feed but it's like 98% cat photos.
