Most people talking about "punching Nazis" are advocating punching people who are certainly far right but who have not themselves committed or threatened any acts of violence.
The Nazis of the early 20th century were committing genocide and conquest, and the only way to stop them was through violence. But if you're talking about "punching Nazis" in the context of the UK and Frogage, their odious policies are a long way from justifying threats of violence which are rightly not legal.
In the US where Trump is attempting a fascist takeover, time will tell whether it will take violence to dislodge. But from our position it's easy to see why a lot of these people get banned.

I feel that i fully aknowlaged the selfishness of my actions in terms of the value I bring to society. I simply disagree with the idea that this is for everyone. There have always been outliers or introverts, and they will and have provided value where they can, even If, like you said, its not actually productive to the average experience of the everyday person(like your farm example). Even so I do believe people can do great things from the relative Isolation of their peers. A book for example could radicalize millions.
I will admit that resisting opression by communicating thoughts and ideas with others is paramount, and me and others like me are possibly doing a disservice to the rest of our communities by not being present. But as long as the "isolation" is not a coping mechanism, I don't see an issue. Sure interaction like this is surface level but to say its unhealthy... Ill agree that too much of this Is unhealthy, but that applies to almost everything. With anything that effects your brain, its all about your relationship with that substace or action not just the substance or action itself.
To me, its as if you view introversion as a mental illness rather than a personality type or lifestyle. Please correct me if im wrong.
Well I’m still talking within the context of the original comment “everyone should feel this kind of community.” But I think we’ve shifted into a different context here, in which case you’re right, introversion is definitely a thing.

I feel like reddit died after they banned all the "unmoderated" communities. All the posts became sanitized. Now reddit is adding AI and streaks and NFTs to keep people on a platform that has no more content.Fuck Reddit and Fuck Spez.

my permanent ban on reddit came when i described how i hoped krasnov would shit himself to death on live television. like, total blowout and then heart attack while eating a nasty sandwich. the full elvis. apparently that's inciting violence.

I got a 24 hour ban for saying a conservative figure should stand on her head and let the blood rush to her brain and maybe she'll have a coherent thought. I was accused of inciting violence.

I gave up on reddit the day the mod teams of were allowed to ban you from their community not because you did anything wrong, but because you were a member in another sub that they didn't like.
You gave up on Reddit because mods can ban you for random reasons unrelated to your behavior? That's one of a small set of problems that's literally much worse and more prevalent on Lemmy.

I think one of the issues with Lemmy is there is some friction to joining it, you need to figure out what an instance is and which one you wanna join and then figure out an app to access Lemmy and then find the communities that interest you etc. Compare that with something like BlueSky for Twitter replacement, it's easy to sign up and follow peoplw and they gave a official app

I was in an argument with someone on .ml unironically calling north Korea democratic and then they banned me because apparently I'm a "chauvinistic westerner" when I disagreed. I found that pretty hilarious.

It's the same problem Linux suffers from. Too many flavors, not one that almost everyone considers the best.

I've been banned from plenty of communities already - particularly meme communities - in the wider Fediverse for rubbing a mod the wrong way. It isn't particular to .ml and it's silly to see Lemmyites panic every time they see an .ml instance user or post.

So what? Plenty of people in America call Florida democratic. You'll be screamed at for suggesting otherwise (Florida voters are just too stupid to vote correctly, you see).
If you get in a pissing contest with a mod or power user, there are plenty of communities that will ban you for being toxic. Either learn to exit the conversation gracefully or stop sticking your dick in the social media blender to begin with. You're probably better off getting banned than running back in for another screaming match.
