context is : I ask NOT if one hashtag is poor susbtitute for another.I ask people & community opinion, whether {browsing, using, following, posting} #hashtag on fediverse is a peculiar and obsure substitute for a chatroom.
That's a question about PROs & CONs comparing hashtags to chat channels.
