Recently, there has been a rash of reports that are clearly inapplicable to the content being reported. For example, a subjectively funny macro being labeled “spam or abuse.”
From now on, this will result in the reporter being temporarily or permanently banned from the community.
The report button is NOT for posts or comments you personally do not like. Do not use the report button unless the post or comment is clearly violating a rule or there is an obvious problem with it. When you report something, we prefer that you select Other and describe what the problem is.
