I left lemmy.world for dbzer0 a while ago for similar reasons. Between World and Hexbear, I don't know which is more thin-skinned or dictatorial. Ironically, I created my account here before I was on world, I just never used it.
In any case, I hear you.
I also might suggest reviewing what you write and see if it's caustic. I don't care to look, so I won't review your stuff. But if you tend to be downvoted more than not, maybe it's you.
