YouTube is a cesspool on a good day.
I absolutely believe at least half of them are just deplorable humans. If you know where to look (such as "anti-woke" "content" creators' videos), you can easily find an overwhelming number of shitheads in the comments cheering for overt bigotry or violence against others.

I implore you to go search "Ozturk" on YouTube. A video from the NY Post comes up. Read the comments. I cannot believe the reaction of such an un-empathetic population.
Keep in mind any empathetic comments are probably deleted.

Does it really help you to pretend that our enemies don’t actually exist? No, your fellow Americans hold these beliefs. They want this and they would not hesitate to do the same to you.

Yeah, I've basically been online since 2003, YT comments has always been a lawless hellscape of scum and villainy.

These are the same people who go on and on about how the "vast majority" of americans are not supporting the actions of their government. They need to think like this, that someone else will fix things, otherwise they might have to take some action themselves.

I'm not even American. No doubt that awful people and people stupid enough to write a comment of the sort exist. I'm just saying that bots are real and you shouldn't assume everything which is on the internet is written by an actual human, or at least a person who is doing so in good faith.

You're assuming a whole lot of things about me. For instance, that I am even American. Chill. I said no such thing.
Neither did I?

How can I "fix things" or "take some action" myself if I am not American? Care to explain?

Yes, no one can do anything unless sufficiently american. Are you reading what your are typing?
Simply not buying any american products would count as "taking some action". "fixing things" could be as simple as making sure your government knows you support actions to solve american global aggression.
