I'm happier now than I was as a child. Sure I've got less free time but that is just about the only thing that is worse.
I have a lot more money leftover than a child's allowance.
I am feeling better mentally because I'm mostly in control of my life.
I know my worth as a person. I'm good at something other people pay me for. (Funnily enough it's something a lot of you probably asked your teacher if you'd ever use this in real life).
