It's not that dark. If mushrooms helped you realize you don't wanna be married to a person you should divorce them. Why spend time with someone you don't want to be with?
There is this belief for some reason that divorce is like the end of the world and a giant nightmare but like, I've done it, its not hard stuff and as long as you and your (soon to be) ex-partner aren't assholes then the hardest thing is gonna be making your schedules line up.
Like Yeah it's devastating to lose a built in best friend, but also you gotta live your truth
Anyways don't jump on mushroom thoughts immediately, let them settle and ferment for a bit before you follow them.
When my ex husband was around during my trips, he would freak me the fuck out. My body was in terror, I understood more than in that moment. The same lack of respect that I brushed off when not tripping sent me into a spiral.
It was a warning sign I didn’t take.

I was telling my therapist that I wanna take shrooms only last evening. I have a bunch. They're legal here. My partner works on Sunday and I have the place to myself. Hope she doesn't get divorced. Lol.
I'm currently growing my first batch, they are unfortunately not legal here
They're fantastic though. I've done shrooms twice in my life now and my depression and social anxiety are all but gone. I've got years of therapy under my belt too and without that the effect would surely not have been this noticeable but still. When you take them you never know what will happen. Most likely it will be amazing from start to finish but every now and then shrooms make you confront unpleasant things. Taking them was a way to prove to myself that I'm ready to confront my fears. -
A heroes dose/heroic dose just refers to doing a very high dosage of a psychedelic substance like shrooms.

I've always heard a good normal dose is an eighth. According to that article linked above, a heroes dose is 5 grams, or an extra 1.5 grams beyond that.

Wow I would never admit "recreational" drug use of any kind to any medical professional. Many years ago I admitted to smoking marijuana to my doctor and it turned into a major catastrophe. They threatened to report me to law enforcement for using illegal drugs and kept extorting me with bogus bills for months afterwards. I never trusted any medical professional again. Fuck the bible belt.
It’s just straight up illegal for medical professionals to report drug use in Canada. The government doesn’t want people to die because they were afraid to go to the hospital

I recommend having a friend trip with you together to affirm that what you're expeciencing matches what they're experiencing. I've taken a lot of psycadelics. For me, this is the way.

last time i took shrooms my ex got mad at me for not caring enough that her food was taking too long to get delievered to her at work. she was mad at me the whole time i was tripping and wouldnt tell me why until i came down

You'd think the government would want as many people as possible to die, considering how easy it is to get into MAIDS, and how hard it is to get actual healthcare instead.
Remember, almost every suicide was someone else's choice, someone who knew what the consequences were, but went with it anyway.

First time I took them I went for 3.5g and then ended up adding another 1.5g as I realized it wasn't working.
Second I made a 5g ginger tea. That was a bust.
So third and last time I ended up doing a whole chocolate bar at 5g and then added about 2g of just straight shrooms....
I had a single moment where I felt like I reached a truth about "now" and human inertia, as I just practically meditated. But otherwise I would say the experience was disappointingly sober. No trips, no visuals, nothing much. -

Glad you had a good trip! I accidentally did a heroic dose of acid back in 2016 and I have been leery of psychedelics ever since (though I have done shrooms and a few other research chemicals since then). I had 2x 130µG tabs of acid in my sock drawer for ~18 months that I didn't store in the freezer or anything, so I figured their potency had diminished and decided to take both. Big mistake.

I've tried a number of times from various sources and all I get is 10 hours of nausea and an overpowering urge to sleep but I can't because I'm on shrooms.
The psilocybin pills worked for me, although I was microdosing them as part of a research study so maybe that was the difference. But Ive never had any issues with other psychedelis either.
