That guy is Nathan Fillion. He is a treasure. Dr Horrible, The Suicide Squad, Superman, Firefly, Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm always happy when he pops up.

But, it sounds like they just had an insane shooting schedule for that show, and were around each other way too much? Neither one seems to have anything bad to say about the other, nor have I found anything about him behaving poorly from other people. Seems like they were both just badly overworked, and the gossip rags and the internet made a whole thing about it?

we have a few redhats in our town who every political event throw their trump flags on their lifted dualies and roll coal all over town. I will admit I've been tempted to join ice and give them a good toss, as what's good for the goose is good for the gander, but the extent of me actually hurting people is writing slanderous folk songs about their dangles. Like, that is actually fun and feels good on the soul.

Not really. Takei was in the camps personally and as such has spent a lot of time using his fame to ensure they aren't forgotten.
Japanese Americans have become ordinary Americans, and so like the Irish Americans, Italian Americans, German Americans, and sometimes even Latino Americans many have learned to sing along with the Anglo Americans as they demand that immigrants get out.

You would think the Japanese of all people would understand the dangers of becoming nationalistic and imperialistic again.

I first learned he was a bigot when he got fired from super girl, a show with a cast full of women and trans people. Because he was an insufferable shithead on the set and everyone hated him

Late one night, slide under a truck, with a #3 drill bit, pop a hole in the muffler. Screw in a zerk fitting. Using a grease gun, add the filling of your choice such as silicone or roofing tar patch.

As someone living in Japan, I feel like it's a different flavour of nationalism.
The LDP is more like "we're better than all of you gaijin but fuck China and Korea specifically," but at least pretend like they care about how they look on the world stage. Whereas the Sanseito is more like, "WHAT'S UP YOUTUBE FUCK FOREIGNERS CAUSING ALL THESE PROBLEMS IN JAPAN AMIRITE?"
