Dog got into the treats jar (twice), accidentally made a decent puzzle toy.

I've caught him standing over it both times, and the number of treats looks about the same.

Or torture device, stick your hand into it and enter the world of pain

World's worst flesh...something or other.

That's the only thing I'd be concerned about... well, and the plastic consumed in the process. My cat would absolutely stick her paw in there and get it stuck.
This is effectively a monkey/raccoon trap, like I've read about, where they reach in and can't pull their paws back out.

Yeah, don't worry, I'm not actually using it as a toy, it just acted like one.

Self-made toy. I didn't mean to be critical, or imply irresponsible behavior.
We went on vacation once and left everything out on the counter for the pet sitter, including Friskies we give as treats. One of our cats methodically pushed the bag off the counter and it exploded on the floor; for nearly 12 hours (we had the web cam on), that's all they ate. It happens!
