Nah Lemmy has got bots too. I'm sure there's instances without. But any general instance with any communities around news or politics will have bots.
There's a difference between news posting bots, fun bots for running gags, etc on one side and bots posing as legitimate users on the other side.

This is very true BoredGamer! It is truly wonderful that us real and normal humans are able to exist on this platform and communicate with other real and natural humans, as I also definitely one.
