I guess I'm going to have to tell all the people at my company and my friends' workplaces that they can't be gainfully employed while they use weed as their primary or (increasingly often) only intoxicant.
Maybe we should coin a new term: blue state privilege. Some people need to be reminded that just because it's legal in your state, and your company doesn't test for it, the majority of states still don't have recreational use and the companies there still test for it. Crazy how in the land of the free, the privileged ones living in the highest cost of living states which also happen to be liberal can smoke it freely while the rest of us get a criminal record and/or fired.

I know who the enemy is, but while they're busy holding the country hostage cannabis reform has completely stalled, and in some states is going into reverse. Be grateful you don't live in a fascist hotzone watching your freedoms being taken away. Be grateful you can smoke a fucking hemp preroll without risking a felony and ten years in prison. Living in a place like this means I'm less free and basically a second class citizen. And unlike most of you I can't just get a cushy WFH job paying like 70k a year. I'm stuck living with my shitty dysfunctional family making $300 a week (more like $60 a week now because of summer) humiliating myself and constantly getting treated like shit delivering food via app based jobs because I'm too stupid and possibly autistic to land a real one. Even people working in fast food and retail who are ten-twelve years younger than me are better than me in that sense. This world is a shithole and I'm uniquely ill equipped to thrive in it, so I turned to weed for many years to help me cope while I was still living in a legal state. The one thing that distracted me from my hellish existence is being taken away from me, and it seems like nobody in the legal states gives a shit what happens to those outside their borders. I may have a criminal record soon because of fucking HEMP!!! Living in a place I never in a million years would've chosen to live in because the alternative was homelessness. I'm straight up not having a good time.

It should also be noted that after a shitshow of year 1 and being unable to fight a combined arms mechanized war, they switched back to the brute force and massive casualty strategy, and for all intents and purposes, It worked, all Ukraine can do is try to hold territory and kill soldiers, but realistically due to Western cowardice and ratfuckery, the door closed a long time ago on Ukraine being able to dislodge Russia from its stolen territory.
