Tornado potato

One time I tried to get a gig working at the county fair for a stand that fried tornado potatoes. I applied about one month prior to the gig. the person running the stand called me an hour before the shift started, asking if I was still available. I told them no, because I had already made plans for the day, and I do not like working gigs that can't give me the courtesy of any advanced notice. The lady told me I wasted her time, and hung up abruptly. I knew I made the right choice declining that gig.

I've had those, they're great. They're both like a chip and a potato wedge, they're somehow both crispy and soft in the middle.
