    So for 4 years we couldn't get graphics cards for gaming because of crypto mining.. Now when that situation is finally starting to slowly improve they're saying we won't be able to get gaming cards because of AI.. sigh

    I mean I think it's fun to run some local AI models, but gaming is still the primary reason I'm spending €1000 on a computer component.

      At this point, I hope Nv etc realize that even if selling AI cards to data centers gets them 10 times the profit per unit, it really is best for them in the long run to have a healthy and vibrant gamer and enthusiast market too. It's never good to have all your eggs in one basket.
