I don't think Russia can start shit somewhere else even if it wanted to.
It's hard to make sense of these conflicting narratives. On one hand we're being told that Russia sucks so much, they wasted all their good weapons, tanks, etc, even brought out the rust buckets from 50 years ago, etc, and if anything they've proven just how weak they are.
On the other hand we're being told "oh no, watch out, they're going to attack NATO next". Well...with what? -

Well...with what?I think there is still a difference if Russia loses all that power for nothing vs it gets what it wants (mostly at least). But my impression is also that it has gotten significantly weaker in this war and this was perhaps Europe's and UKs (and US initially) aim, that weaken Russia using a remotely controlled nation...
