Can I check which communities banned me?
-
I read the deleted comments and there really wasn't any homophobia, silly to be banned over something like that.
Wide permabans as first reaction for borderline infringement is not healthy moderation.

Thanks
I admit, I was trolling conservatives, but yeah, nothing against gay couples or anything

I don't have context but it looks a mod banned you from several for those comments?
Edit: for anyone reading thinking this is just like reddit: show me where we could see this so transparently over there? Reddit obfuscates it more. Here we can all see the overreach and respond as necessary.

Didn't know how to access the modlog
Regarding the thread in a conservative community:
Well, I was trolling a bit, but I didn't say anything bad about being gay or something.
I just made fun of Trump
I can live with being banned there, but wanted to check why an upvote in a science community didn't got through, as I can't remember that I said anything stupid there.
Will go and check now, after you showed me how
Thanks again :-)Edit: either I'm stupid or I got banned from communities, I didn't even interact with.
Seems I've hurt some feelings of a mod of multiple communities - at least that's my current interpretation -
If you search your username in the modlog you can see what communities you have been banned from among other things.

Thank you very much!

Go to this post's (because it's you) hamburger and there is a moderation history link in the dropdown. That will give all of your moderation history.
Thanks! :-D

Hi all!
I just saw that an upvote in a science community wasn't going through, because I'm somehow banned - don't have any idea why, but that's just a side issue.
Is there a way to see which communities banned me or do I just see it, when I want to interact in said community?
And for the side issue: is there a way to see why I was banned? Thanks in advance!
Edit: thanks to all for the answers! Didn't know where to see the modlog
Are we repeating the Reddit insanity here too?

Mod was probably taking his daddies' very public divorce hard and wanted to take it out on someone.

At least here I can just use the community of a different instance for the same topic
But yeah, power corrupts indiscriminately
(Hopefully I've read your comment correctly and it wasn't addressed to some wrong doing of mine, which I fail to see at the moment)

Pssht!
Don't talk too loud or you'll get banned too ;-) -
