      Gross.*

*this has been my daily "we shouldn't have yearly phone releases" rant.

"From 20 June 2025, consumers will be able to benefit from smartphones and tablets that are both longer-lasting and more easily repairable thanks to new rules. It will also be much easier to choose more durable phones, thanks to a new energy label with repairability and reliability scores."

Hopefully #Googles tries to profit from this by having their Flagship be one of the firsts that have these official labels with good Stats.

At first I thought they would try to rush it to bring it into market before the new EU rules apply.

I have been waiting for this to get a more easily repairable #Pixel with #GrapheneOS.

Yeah I will be cautiously optimistic and definitely run GrapheneOS if I get one of these.

Why not? You don't have to buy them every year.
