I know one of the rules is to post headlines without editorializing, but it really pisses me off that the term 'strikes' is subbed in for 'bombings'.
Right seriously, I've even so many report it as "raids" which makes it sound like they have troops on the ground.

They've never cared enough to actually do anything about it, but there was at least grumbling and complaints. Right now I'm not hearing a peep.

I'm saying right now, as in in March/April 2025.
Edit: If you mean the "never cared enough to do anything about it" part, going to a protest once doesn't qualify as "doing anything about it". I don't know if this is due to lack of will or because Americans straight up forgot how to hold their government accountable, but if it was that much of a big deal they'd have figured something out.

It should also be noted that the US has "burned through" 9 units of MQ-9 Reaper - the Houthis shot them down. Total worth? Maybe 500 million.
That's 9 out of 300 produced, not a sustainable thing to do without producing more.
