I still use flynx, so I know what do you mean. I heard that google was severely limiting for apps that display over other apps (security/privacy threats), so development was challenging . It's sad there aren't any options in this area right now.

Interesting. I don't use it for anything but it's custom tabs, so displaying over other apps isn't a problem for me...
