wrote last edited by [email protected]If you're trying to get an AI to be consistent and actually retain and recall previous information you have given it, you'd either have to use a model that already can actually do that or train one to do so from scratch. They are not designed in a way that makes them good information tools. They are really just meant to output text that is passable as being from a human until actually scrutinized.
Or you can do what I do and simply treat it as an actual player who keeps fucking up the rules and misremembering previous sessions. They are certainly good at emulating that kind of real world player behaviour.

If you're trying to get an AI to be consistent and actually retain and recall previous information you have given it, you'd either have to use a model that already can actually do that or train one to do so from scratch. They are not designed in a way that makes them good information tools. They are really just meant to output text that is passable as being from a human until actually scrutinized.
Or you can do what I do and simply treat it as an actual player who keeps fucking up the rules and misremembering previous sessions. They are certainly good at emulating that kind of real world player behaviour.
