Evolution of the k'chain che'malle, pretty much

This is a Malazan shitpost and there is nothing you can do about it.
If you don't get the title just enjoy the comic on its own.
I hear their love can be bone shattering.
(honestly I think whoever was rolling the dice for Toc just kept getting 1s)

Malazan is the best. It's the bar by which i measure other fantasy.

2060 - Only race to ever kill Azathanai
2070 - Flying fortresses are able to space travelAhkshually that would be the K'Chain Nah'ruk, not the Che'Malle

I've made it 82% of the way through this series. Twice. Still my favorite fantasy of all time. One day I will finish.

2080 - sky fortresses of che'malle predates the one from Nah'ruk but they preferred running and donated them

Actually, by 2036, new scanning tech discovers there is no "spinosaur". We just kept finding 3 dinosaurs upside down and mashed together.

I stopped about 200 pages towards the end of Book 8. I'm doing audio books, but still - can't hack the whole Clip story arc. I just can't do hours and hours of that when I don't give a shit.

Try the wheel of time. You won't regret it, and a bit more order might be vastly appreciated

I've read it. While I appreciate it as a whole, and really like a good bit of it, I found enough of it to be a slog that I only recommend it to people who already read fantasy. Do you have any other recommendations in the same vein?

Not quite the same, but try Conn Igullden's Rome series. Short by Malazan standards, and well done.

Thanks! I haven't heard of the author or series so I'm pretty stoked to give it a try.
