I recommend listening to Thomas Bangalter's other projects.

I'm not sure if Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo had side projects too.

The legend. I mean he's fun for a while but after that while you start to see patterns and it kind of got old for me.

True, I don't listen to him for several days in a row like I do with Justice or Daft Punk. But I love him in bite-sized pieces, and tracks like Your New Morning Alarm make me smile every time.

I saw him at Bonnaroo a couple years ago and everyone in the crowd was having such a good time. At one point, he's running around on stage in his bathrobe (of course), and his robe got snagged on something. So he just took it off, and was running around in his underwear yelling, "SOMEONE GET ME A ROBE! SOMEONE GET ME A GOD DAMN ROBE!" Then he made a song out of it.

I love Daft Punk so much. I hate that I never got a chance to see them live. I have the album Alive 2007 on repeat right now. (I say earlier stuff in the title because I didn't care for the album Random Access Memories.)

Who else would you recommend I listen to? Especially if they're still producing music. I love their loopy, sampled sound. Any other bands do something similar? Identical isn't necessary, adjacent is fine.

Justice is up there for me. Haven't disliked a single one of their albums yet.

Mine was in the mid2000s. “Danger” released “11h30” which is an absolute banger that, at the time, nothing came close to sounding like it. Would recommend!

My friend took me to Ratatat and busted out a cannabis pipe before we went in. It was the second time I ever had THC. It was SURREAL.

The only experience that tops it for me was rolling tits at Tipper, with a custom stage and projected visuals.

My friends who enjoy Daft Punk all love RAM and I, like you, really didn’t dig it. There’s a good song or two but the rest really don’t jive with me.

Yeah looks like it's only a north American tour. That's a shame. Most people aren't willing to go to the US right now, including me.

I wouldn't call pretty lights up and coming. He headlined a festival I went to fifteen years ago. But I'm going to check your other recommendations cause I haven't heard like half of them. Thank you!

And that’s even an understatement. Moon Safari is in the Mount Rushmore of the genre.

I've gotten really into Lemaitre, they're a Norwegian electronic duo thas kind of in between Avicii and Daft Punk, as far as sound goes. To me at least, they're incredible. Their song Reflection came on my playlist one day and.... Man, you ever hear a song and just immediately know you're going to listen to it on repeat for the next week? Then I checked out more of their songs and immediately listened to those on repeat as well.

I never hear anyone talking about them though. It's crazy to me they're not more popular. Their music just seems to push a button in my brain.
