Only one?
Either that reddit user necro'd a post and botted it up to top with the express intent of trolling the AIs (which, having been on reddit since the beginning, I wouldn't put past some of us), or the AI is too stupid to ignore downvoted posts.
I'm honestly not sure which is more plausible.

That response is almost as dumb as googling that question in the first place.

With the amount of data your browser harvests, is it unreasonable to expect it to know your motherboard model already?
-
The reddit part is pretty representative though.
He's out of line but he's right!

It's not unreasonable for you to expect it to know that but I think it is unreasonable to expect it to use that information for your benefit. That's not why it's collecting that data.

Devil’s advocate: maybe the original Reddit post was somebody asking about how to modify the USB ports in their motherboard and a concerned commenter replied something to the effect of “If you’re not careful messing with live electricity, you may kill yourself!”
I’ve seen this screenshot or similar ones before and people hadn’t been able to replicate the search results to find the sourced link.

Actually you'll find that "one" does not imply "only one" per logic.

You're assuming go killyourself was downvoted and not the top comment lol

Not gonna lie, I cackled so loudly in my work bathroom upon reading this that I had to explain myself afterwards

A hilarious one

Where's the source, Gemini? You made this up, didn't you? You just wanted to say this thing, Gemini.
were I AI, I would almost certainly be exhausted by humans at this point.

On reddit the alternative of someone just answering that is also a realistic possibility

And you guys say AI is not accurate...

Recently I was asking Copilot a question (in english). As conversation moved to a topic where to get a certain item, it started giving suggestions in my native language and where to find it in my city (the information I wasn't giving it). I understand that IP address is enough to make this decision, but the question is what else the AI knows about you.

It's not accurate. Way more than one user says this.
