I know this is not a typical News-Site. The article is an English translation of an article the author Matthias Monroy published in a German Newspaper. It is from the same author and of the same content of the following article in German.

I'd assume the term would be semitiphilism.

Looking it up, Judeophilia would be a word for philo-semitism as well.

Philosemitism is often used as a term by Jews, who don't want to be conflated with Israel. See for instance the explainer by the Diaspora Alliance, who see German political philosemitism as performative and often complemented by antisemitism.

        https://diasporaalliance.co/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Political-Philosemitism-Explainer.pdf

Summary: Philosemitism, like antisemitism, others Jews. Political philosemitism invokes support for
Jews and Israel that is often a cover for advancing repressive policies.

⁄ A. Philosemitism does not cancel out antisemitism — and is often complemented by it
⁄ B. Philosemitism mimics antisemitism by making Jews the avatar for political or social
crises — but does so in the name of protecting them
⁄ C. As an electoral strategy, philosemitism serves to either solidify or expand political
        bases of support

Whatever. I don't think philosemitism is really too extreme a position for a memorial site on the ground of a former extinction camp. They're certainly not representing a neutral position.

Yeah, sure... My understanding of philo-semitism really isn't that it implies blind support for genocidal efforts, though.

That being said, I was really just commenting on the word itself, not the news article.
