They should import some Louisiana alligators to deal with the rat problem. When the alligators become an invasive species, add Alligator Sauce Piquante to the menu. Problem solved.

"Temporarily closes" might be a better headline. I thought it meant they were shutting for good, which would be kinda ridiculous.
An entire restaurant chain commuting seppuku... Ridiculous!

Oh god, what will that guy that only eats at Sukiya do until they reopen? He's gonna starve.

People don't go there for amazing food, they go to get an extra large beef rice bowl, salad, and a cup of miso soup in under 5 minutes for 7 bucks

7 dollars for rice, lettuce, mostly water, and maybe a 1/4 pound of beef?
I jest. Merely commenting on how all restaurants are scams if you're looking for a good deal.
Do your cooking at home, people. It's faster, easier, cheaper, and healthier to just make food in the oven than it is to drive to a restaurant or, god forbid, use a delivery app.
Open your minds. Experiment. Eating doesn't have to be something you show off to your peers.

2... hours? My oven is pretty weak, but they're ready in 35 minutes if I include fries. The fries take longer.
Compared to getting in my car and waiting in line, it's about the same time. The real benefit though comes from the fact that I don't have to tend to it constantly. While I'm getting food at a restaurant, I can't be doing something else.
Seriously, give it a shot. You may be surprised.
If that's too much for you, you can make your own meatball subs. I can give instructions if you're interested, but it's pretty easy to figure out how. You can use your microwave, too. It's much faster.
