      Interesting. We have an official comaps community on [email protected] that is linked on comaps page and one of the main devs posts there. Wonder if they made that user?

        Hrm, does this allow for things like sharing speed traps or raid hazards like items in the road?

        That's a pretty big reason why I haven't moved off of Google maps (despite trying to degoogle the rest of my life).

              i hope they update osm data more frequently than ogm. i've made changes on osm and they're still no in organic maps 😞

                  be careful with combining lemmy and osm, you are giving away where you live, possibly to the house and you won't know it (like if you upload gps traces)

                      Unless they get that data from some third party source, it's probably based on user metrics like Google maps.

                      Anything is better than nothing though. OSM once navigated me into a huge traffic jam. 😄
