Alright, it took some time to understand what actually was happening:

    Alright, it took some time to understand what actually was happening:
    There was no state legalized separation of mother and child, the mother chose to return to Germany and left her child back with her parents.
    The mother is under investigation because she had/has ties to organizations classified as terrorist organizations in Germany and the EU and her permanent residency permit is in jeopardy.

    The sensationalized headline is misleading. German authorities do not misuse their power to separate families. And they do not misuse their power to punish Palestinian supporters.

    I'm not saying that this was a well handled case, in fact you can see the flaws of a over engineered bureaucracy at play, but this is not even remotely as bad as what is happening elsewhere.

    And pointing out 22 cases of supposed abuse when there are over a quarter million request for asylum doesn't make a good case either.

    Articles like that won't help Palestinians, they will further move them into a terrorist corner where they definitely don't belong.
