I gave Vivaldi a go some years back. It was alright. All the extras were a bit much and didn't really care much for them, but I can see why someone might like them. Still it seemed to drink more of my battery compared to just using Firefox. Tho it is worth noting that I did install it as a flatpak because I didn't want to add a whole ppa for something I was testing out.

Vivaldi is based on Chrome. 'nuff said.

I'm too in love with Containers so nothing will get me move from Firefox.

Vivaldi is still not free software or even open source, and is therefore not suitable for consideration as a candidate for replacing Firefox.

@tchambers What do you think of Ladybird? Early days but I’m rooting for them. I’m going to be experimenting switching back to Linux and I’d like to use something other than Chrome/Firefox.
