Are there actual places like Craggy Island where priests and nuns live there locally and do antics like in Father Ted?

Parish priests are real, and parochial houses. The antics obviously are fiction.

Are there any other productions based on life in a parochial house, anything more "realistic"?

I had reason to phone a Benedictine Monk once, I asked for Brother sonandso, there was a pause and the the brother that answered the phone put on the most ridiculous old man voice and then burst out laughing before fetching the brother in question
I think that funny shit happens just like any other house

Ballykissangel is a slightly more serious take on it, but not by much. Father Ted actually does a little cameo/parody of that show, where Ted is fantasising about having a romantic chat with the star of Ballykissangel before being rudely awakened by his real life. Forgot all about that until I started to answer your question
If you don't mind those awful Protestants, you can also try The Vicar of Dibley. Another sitcom, but more grounded than Ted.
