    Summary

Newly released court documents reveal Prince Andrew maintained ties with alleged Chinese spy Yang Tengbo after his 2019 Newsnight interview left his reputation "irrecoverable."

Ex-aide Dominic Hampshire saw Yang as Andrew’s last chance to restore status through business in China.

The two used a communication channel to President Xi Jinping, including sending birthday letters. MI5 warned against contact, and internal palace tensions grew.

Yang, accused of CCP-linked political interference, allegedly gained Andrew’s deep trust. Buckingham Palace denied royal approval or knowledge of any business relationship with Yang.
