Graz Mayor Elke Kahr has now said that 10 people have been killed in this morning's shooting. School students are among the dead and a number of people have been reported wounded.

Police say the suspected gunman probably took his own life after the attack on the Dreierschützengasse high school at about 10:00 (09:00 BST).

It is not clear at the moment if the gunman was a student or a former student at the school.

The influence form the US is spreading. Adding an age limit to social media will probably be the response instead of improving education (especially digital), mental health options, and deradicalisation efforts.

School shootings with multiple victims killed happened in Germany multiple times over the past decades.

Going by the past responses of most politicians. they will always scramble to find some easy thing to put the blame on. Metal music, video games, social media... Anything but address the question of adequate social and psychological infrastructure for students.
