Taking a cue from a graphic novel and the subsequent movie, is there any law in the United States preventing common citizens from dressing in a ball cap, face covering, cap, and sunglasses when traveling in public? Add a vest, and I'd say you've nailed that fashion trend?

Some places (like part of Long Island, naturally) have made it illegal to wear a face mask.

I'm not sure if that's a good idea to start as a trend. It'd make it easier for actual ICE agents to hide in plain sight.

I don't think making it easier for state-endorsed terrorism to fly under the radar is a good strategy for stopping it. If you physically intervene with every terrorist-fashioned individual you see you're much more effective when they're all actually ICE and not just trolls. And I'd very much recommend that course of action.

Wear all the gear! Basically modern day armor.

Reinforced knuckles and boots for your self defense.

North Carolina recently reenacted a law banning face coverings. It was originally meant to restrict Klan activity.

Yeah, that way you could kidnap whoever you want and look legit doing it.

Is it illegal for ICE to wear them? What about people experiencing medical symptoms or people with immunodeficiencies? Or was it aimed at protesters trying to protect their identity?

I don't like that ICE or people pretending to be them wear masks, but this seems like a dangerous precedent.

I ride motorcycles, so this already was my plan for attending protests. They have back, shoulder, elbow, knee and hip pads built in, plus you can add chest pads to many of these jackets. Range of motion is a bit restricted, but that's a small price to pay for protection from a beating

I'd be shocked if this wasn't happening already.

The mob could kidnap someone in broad daylight just with masks and bulletproof vests (even more convenient for them) and half the public would be convinced it must be the victim's fault.

Literally ICE has shown that the public will not intervene when masked, plainclothed thugs with no ID are just ambushing and grabbing people off the street, so anyone else could probably do it and get away with it, too.
