My partner ran across this thread randomly when searching for something else. This is the epitome of mid 2k internet arguments between the dumb and the not so dumb. It's 5 pages long, and I bet if you start it, you will finish it.

It revolves around a debate of how long a week is, what working out "every other day" means, and everyone else laughing at them along the way.

Something tells me he'd agree if reflective surfaces weren't all he could see. No basis for comparison, can't weigh in. 🤷🏼‍♂️

tbf, bodybuilding.com forums are kind of famous for their semi trolling threads. Or at least they were back in the days

I doubt you randomly ran across this highly popular and heavily memed thread, that I've seen everywhere from NASIOC to YT to work.

not sure meme applies. just suggesting that I think it's unlikely they found a specific, well known thread on a low-traffic forum naturally while 'searching for something unrelated' instead of through one of the dozens of places it's been shared in the last decade+ .. especially if they're viewing it/linking it through the wayback machine instead of directly?

Searching for Garmin Tempe ANT+ changes since it was deprecated. Two people were debating how they measure temperature during their rides. Another commenter said if they weren't careful, they'd start a thread like... link.

So yes, unrelated, found, never seen before, thus the XKCD.
