Donald Trump faces new Articles of Impeachment over Iran strikes
-
Representative Al Green, a Texas Democrat, officially introduced new Articles of Impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday.
"In starting his illegal and unconstitutional war with Iran without the constitutionally mandated consent of Congress or appropriate notice to Congress, President Trump acted in direct violation of the War Powers Clause of the Constitution," Green's articles state.
"President Trump has devolved and continues to devolve American democracy into authoritarianism by disregarding the separation of powers and now usurping congressional war powers."
This is a developing story and will be updated.
Round 3.
How many similar articles to this has there been since he took office? Nothings going to happen. He’s above the law.

nobel prize withdrawal for breakfast, impeachment for lunch, ??? for dinner
Yes, 3 fish hooks for dinner, excellent suggestion.

Impeachment is meaningless whether you like it or not. Resist and get this guy the fuck out

You've never worked with people because getting every single person to show up at any workplace every day is next to impossible.
People get wasted the night before, or they get sick, or they need to be there for their family, or they get hurt. Life happens.
Yeah, while I understand and agree with the sentiment... If you have 300 people and on average somebody gets sick once a year for 2 days... You're going to have to hit some lotto style stats that they all don't lineup together to get a clear day of 100% attendance. Now realize that normal is 2-4 times a year... not just once. It's hard to corral that many people and get them all in on the same day available without some sort of conflict, sick days alone. Forget all the other stuff, birthdays, births, funerals, etc...

I think each resolution would have to have substantially different accusations, can’t be for the same thing. but that shouldn’t be a problem
Yes, each impeachable instance or crime is grounds for a new impeachment.
The US likely has the votes for a 3rd impeachment, with some Republicans coming across the isle (again). However, it will not result in Trump being removed.
The US system is so fucking weird, it was never meant to work with political parties.
It's like a penalty being called on the winning team in sports and the referee stops to ask the offending team if they should get a penalty or not. -

I've been in the military where this happens every day. It's not that hard, they're just not held accountable. If you're kid has a cough and we're voting to save democracy then little Timmy can be without one of their parents as they do the thing they were voted into doing and signed up for. There's a level of selflessness that is supposed to come with being a public servant, it's not all insider trading and gifts from lobbiests.
