What are your thoughts on people who call others transphobic for saying that transracial (eg a white person identifying as black) isn't a thing?

I don't have a Xitter account but I was browsing it this morning and I saw people arguing that if you don't believe transracial is valid then you're transphobic

Sounds like Nazis trying to bait people and/or bots. Don't fall for the conflation.

I think they're morons and trolls.

Trolls trying to argue in bad faith.
They use the fact that both race and gender are social constructs to try and trap you in a contradiction. Which is technically correct but their argument doesn't come from a desire for a good outcome in either case.

Maybe trans racial is a bad term. It used to be called passing, such as a biracial person passing as white. In America's hateful past, it was more of a mechanism to access goods and services only available to white people.

Bait used to be believable...

That's not what they mean. They're not talking about lightskin Black folks, they're talking about white people who "identify" as Black, like that one lady from a few years ago.
Which is basically the only example I know of

While I don't disagree that this point is almost exclusively made by trolls, the way you've phrased this implies you think they're correct in pointing out that it's a contradiction to no support trans-racial people.
Trans-racial people clearly exist to some small degree (Rachel Dolozov being the famous example). Should people be defending her choice to identify as black, since race is just a social construct?

The brand new accounts that keep asking this same question over and over again?
Yeah. They're absolutely trolling this sub...
