What's your LEAST favorite song

A. K. A. Which song do you hate the most?
I've been trying to find it for a while now, but I can't.
Constantly plays at Tesco supermarkets, goes like A ha a ha a ha, yuhoo yuhoo yuhoo, a ha ha haa haaa haaaa. No lyrics, just womans voice making these, I guess meant to be "happy and excited" noises made into a song that plays on repeat.

A. K. A. Which song do you hate the most?
Country music.

A. K. A. Which song do you hate the most?
"I'll be riding shotgun, underneath the hot sun".... It's the most aggressively boring thing I've ever heard

A. K. A. Which song do you hate the most?
wrote last edited by [email protected]Idk what the song is called, but that song that says "Don't Listen to a Word I Say." Still going to get crucified but call this "quirky white people music." I also do not know...wait I do know the name of this one. Safe and Sound, awful song. I don't think either are my least favorite but both were just awful to live through. I am glad they're gone.
Which is funny, because I later heard that one of the Safe & Sound folks is one of the guys from PNAU and I like them. I just find those two songs to be droning for different reasons. One is mindless and campy, and the other is mindless and falsely whimsical. Which I guess sounds like campy, but I feel like they sit in adjacent er...camps.
*I laughed because With You Forever is two steps away from Safe & Sound but I like it so much more.

U2
Aerosmith - love in an elevator
Any christmas shit
Old U2 is actually pretty decent, I quite like The Unforgettable Fire

A. K. A. Which song do you hate the most?
Anything by Morrissey. The histrionics are annoying enough but I think he's an objectively bad musician. He seems to just meander around with no discernable melody. Like, what are you even trying to do man? I'm pretty certain the actually catchy Smiths songs were written by someone else.
Runner up: Hold My Hand by Hootie and the Blowfish. If it comes on at a place of business I will immediately walk out of that business.

I think I actually like it more for the memes than as a song at this point

A. K. A. Which song do you hate the most?
Dancing Queen by Abba. Something about the baseline makes me feel physically sick (literally, not figuratively). Can't bear it.
-
A. K. A. Which song do you hate the most?
The Piña Colada Song.
It enrages me. I hear the first note and I want to break a window. If it comes on in the car, I almost break my wrist with how quickly I turn it off.

I'll see your Sandstorm and raise you Cotton Eyed Joe.
Both such bangers!

A. K. A. Which song do you hate the most?
There are some interesting takes in here.

A. K. A. Which song do you hate the most?
Butterfly by Crazy Town
-
That Mariah Carey one. You know the one.
I was struggling to think of something I truly hate
I was coming up with a lot of bad tracks, sure, but they don't really inspire hatered
This one however, viscerally upsetting from the first bar

A. K. A. Which song do you hate the most?
Pretty much every song played by Walmart radio
-
Radio Ga Ga by Queen.
I had to listen to that shit played on loop for a week straight when the cruise ship I was working on chose it to be used to constantly stress test the PA system. Any time I hear it now, I get extremely angry and want to break something.
Sure that was a job and not a psychology experiment you were subjected to?

wrote last edited by [email protected]Some Nights by Fun
Goddamn if those are not the single worst vocals to cross my ear holes and they’re somehow popular with that shit. Everything from them is white boy preachy.
The solo 3 minutes in make me want to commit crimes. And not in the fun way.

A. K. A. Which song do you hate the most?
I Will Survive - Something about this song just makes me murderous.
Don't Stop Believing - By the gods, please do stop. I love Journey, but just don't play this.
Bohemian Rhapsody - I think I'm just really tired of it. It's been held up at such a pinnacle for so long and played far too often and I just can't anymore. I don't care. Turn it off.

Ill take your word, cuz I aint fucking listening to it

Sweet Home Alabama
When I still listened to the radio in the car, it started on one station, so I switched to another rock station. It was playing there too, on a different part. Switched to yet another rock station and it was also playing that terrible song!
My biggest beef with Sweet Home Alabama is, if people are ever singing along with it, or if they're singing it at karaoke. I should mention that I live in the South, so these people singing it are from the South, and even though the song itself isn't racist, the way these people emphasize certain lyrics, it sure sounds like they want it to be racist.
The whole thing makes me uncomfortable.

Wow, never heard this one before and completely agree with each point. Not sure where it would've seen much air time in the US back then, though I'm sure my hometown was small enough that no radio station had it.
Scandinavia, around the turn of the millennium.
