What's a personal weakness you possess that is entirely not relevant to your daily life?

I can't make upside down hand eye goggles. Image for context below.
I learned this from The Aquabats!

I can't roll my r's. I speak pretty decent Spanish (took 5 semesters in high school), but have never been able to figure out how to roll the r's, despite years of trying on and off to figure it out.
It's never a problem. On the rare occasions that I actually need to speak Spanish, nobody cares that I can't roll my r's.
You might have a physical limitation, I've met native people who can't roll their Rs, it's still fairly simple to understand as long as you're pronouncing them as Rs, or something close/distinct enough, e.g. English R (How an English speaker pronounces the R in for example Row)

I am unable to do the magic eye things, my eyes just don't focus on that way. Good thing I never am required to
wrote last edited by [email protected]Due to an old eye injury, I do not have a functional drain tube for my left eye (that channel that drains from the corner of your eye and into your nose).
Normally it's not something anyone notices, but in cold headwind and anything else that causes my eyes to water, it looks like I'm crying my heart out but only with one eye.

Hey OP, I used to have that same weakness, but this tutorial actually allowed me to see the magic eyes things
https://www.magiceye.com/faq-items/help-how-do-i-see-in-3d/ the two dots made it easier for me to know when I was focusing correctly. As for my weakness, I can't whistle loudly, I've tried all the methods people use, but wasn't able to learn any of them.

I can't swim. Then again I just never go near deep water and am not a swimming pool enthusiast.

I thought I was the only one! Every time I experience the exact same thing.

A near-complete lack of rhythm and profound tone deafness. I can't keep a beat to save my life, and my singing sounds like the wails of the damned. But like damned chimps or something.
Anyway, all music is sorcery as far as I'm concerned.

I never learned to ride a bike and every attempt has been met with injuries as soon as I build a modicum of confidence. But I can rollerblade like nobody’s business, so I got that going for me.

I had a dream I was rollerblading last night... the last time I put on roller blades was in 2006!

wrote last edited by [email protected]Turns out I only have one kidney. Went in for a scan of my bladder (which was fine), and the nurse doing the scan just casually mentioned it. I had no idea. I was 43 at the time.

How do you slow down / stop with rollerblades? I had the reverse experience: any kind of hill, I'm fine on a bike but I always crash on rollerblades. I would love to learn though.

I have the same problem, except one day I figured it out! I was rolling rrrs all day! But the next day I woke up and could only sort of do it. And now I can't do it at all again, despite trying to learn.

I have a nervous tick test only comes out in very rare situations (access to a particular weight of cloth at hand height) and caused me to develop a thick callous on the thumb side of the first knuckle on each middle finger.
-
My right foot is almost one size wider than my left foot. Finding a good pair of shoes is hard.
And I can't remember what kind of clothes people are wearing. Colours, sometimes, but it's like my visual cortex dedicates zero processing power for clothes.
I have the opposite problem. Only remember clothes and hair, never faces. It affects my life a lot, though.

How is this a personal weakness?
Wrong answers only, please.
Once you have the forbidden knowledge it constantly calls to be used.

I can't snap my fingers

I'm with you on github for sure. I assume people who use it regularly think it has a decent layout but to me it seems so random and disjointed that I can't imagine how that's possible.

I physically cannot focus or think too hard on something for too long (somewhere between 1-2 hrs), otherwise I would get physically sick. It was so bad for me as a child that I stopped watching movies... but these days it seems no more than a fun fact for my therapists

wrote last edited by [email protected]I can curl my upper lip on the left side, but the right side can't do it. I can't raise one eyebrow either.

I can't whistle so always called my kids with a trill sound (like a loud Spanish RR, not Arabic ululation) and it is also my recall sound for the dogs. But I really can't whistle. Can sort of make a sound but it's laughably mockably wimpy.
Can't catch at all either, can throw reasonably accurately most of the time but an object coming at me never goes where my hands think it should. I am shamed by my penultimate daughter, who despite nearsightedness worse even than mine was, and a strong drive to be non-athletic, can pluck anything out of the air, has both lighting fast reflexes and intuitive hand eye coordination. But it doesn't really affect me other than occasional embarrassment - I just pick whatever it is up off the floor after it hits me.
