What's a personal weakness you possess that is entirely not relevant to your daily life?

I am unable to do the magic eye things, my eyes just don't focus on that way. Good thing I never am required to
I have double vision (diplopia).
It's kind of a super power when I think about it.. but not really.

I learned this from The Aquabats!
I loved playing the pool party song for my kid!

I have 3
I cannot juggle. I don't generally lack in hand-eye coordination (not that I'm overly-gifted with it either, but I'd generally say that I'm at least average,) and I understand the theory of it well enough, I've even been able to teach people to juggle successfully, it's just that I, myself, cannot juggle.
I'm also a reasonably handy, technically-minded person, again not an absolute wizard, but if I crack a gadget open, with a couple Google searches and how-to guides, I can usually understand more or less how things work and how to fix them if they're broken.
But something about sewing machines breaks my mind. There's something going on right around the bobbin that just doesn't make sense to my brain and doesn't seem like it should work, but it apparently does, because I've successfully used a sewing machine and can confirm first-hand that they work.
Lastly, I don't like needles. It's not a horrible phobia that sends me running for the hills, but something about needles sleeves me out like nothing else. I can suck it up and get my necessary vaccines and such, but I do kind of have to give myself a little internal pep-talk first. It's not a fear of pain, I have pretty solid pain tolerance and needles really don't hurt that much at all, it's specifically needles that weird me out. If there was an option to get my vaccines where a doctor would shank me with a scalpel and rub the vaccine into the wound, I'd absolutely go for it.
I too have the needle fear whenever I get vaccinated or blood drawn I get super anxious and I have passed out a couple of times... then I also have several tattooes. I can't explain why those do not bother or scare me.

My high school boyfriend and I jammed out to that whole album. xD IT'S MY POOL PARTY I DO WHAT I LIKE!!

Thick latinas, oh wait, you said not relevant...
-
I can't snap my fingers
Tough life for those with charisma and a personal butler.
-
Regardless of age, weight, or overall fitness, I have never been able to touch my toes when bending over from standing.
I trained a whole year when I was 18 to be able, gasp, to touch ground (/my toes), after some initial warmup I did it repeatedly!
My kinetherapeut today: no one is stiff like that, we'll have you in shape in no time...
Guess I have really long legs or something
-
Can't whistle loudly. I can barely do it quietly. I certainly can't do that badass thing where you put fingers from both hands into your mouth and blow.
I can't whistle at all, despite numerous ppl in my life taking so much time trying to coach me
-
I can't swim. Then again I just never go near deep water and am not a swimming pool enthusiast.
I can technically swim, but I can't open my eyes under water, so it's not safe to attempt swimming. Now I'm just grossed out by the ick in lakes and swimming pools, and I can't handle the heat anymore either, so I'll probably never swim again

I have trouble making up context in conversations. I just don't have that many daily convos that require adquiring context

I never learned to ride a bike and every attempt has been met with injuries as soon as I build a modicum of confidence. But I can rollerblade like nobodyās business, so I got that going for me.
I can roller blade (in-line wheels), but roller skate? Impossible. Last time I tried was a disaster, I just canāt get the hang of them.

I can't whistle so always called my kids with a trill sound (like a loud Spanish RR, not Arabic ululation) and it is also my recall sound for the dogs. But I really can't whistle. Can sort of make a sound but it's laughably mockably wimpy.
Can't catch at all either, can throw reasonably accurately most of the time but an object coming at me never goes where my hands think it should. I am shamed by my penultimate daughter, who despite nearsightedness worse even than mine was, and a strong drive to be non-athletic, can pluck anything out of the air, has both lighting fast reflexes and intuitive hand eye coordination. But it doesn't really affect me other than occasional embarrassment - I just pick whatever it is up off the floor after it hits me.
This is really funny considering thereās a Bobās Burgers episode about exactly that. The wife, Linda can roll her Rs but canāt whistle, while the husband, Bob can whistle but canāt roll his Rs. Itās a whole plot.

My right foot is almost one size wider than my left foot. Finding a good pair of shoes is hard.
And I can't remember what kind of clothes people are wearing. Colours, sometimes, but it's like my visual cortex dedicates zero processing power for clothes.
Oh man, the clothes thing. I have to consciously make it a point to remember what my nephews wear when Iām in charge of them. Iām terrified of losing sight of them and when asked, āWhat were they wearing?ā Iād have no idea what to say.

I have the same problem, except one day I figured it out! I was rolling rrrs all day! But the next day I woke up and could only sort of do it. And now I can't do it at all again, despite trying to learn.
Funny thing, I learned to roll my Rs by pretending to purr like a cat.

I'm with you on github for sure. I assume people who use it regularly think it has a decent layout but to me it seems so random and disjointed that I can't imagine how that's possible.
As someone who uses GitHub everyday, I don't think about the layout at all. The uploading, downloading, version control etc is all done with terminal commands or desktop tools. So separate from the website (but my code still ends up on there).
If I ever have to go to GitHub.com in a browser it's only to copy a repository URL and I always marvel at how ugly and convoluted that website looks.

I know ā same! I fall constantly on traditional skates.
My wife is the opposite. She canāt figure out in-line skates, but traditional skates just work for her. -
How do you slow down / stop with rollerblades? I had the reverse experience: any kind of hill, I'm fine on a bike but I always crash on rollerblades. I would love to learn though.
Most common way is to put one foot behind and angle it perpendicular to the way you going, this cause friction between the wheels and the surface causing you to slow down. Experienced rollerbladers can do this with both feet at the same time.

Auditory processing disorder makes it really hard to deal with multiple people talking.
I work from home, so
wrote last edited by [email protected]I absolutely hate this. If I'm working on site, about 99% of the time I have noise-canceling earbuds in. No I actually want to write my code without having to stop and find my place every 30 seconds while Janet and Kevin talk about their weekend excursions for half the day.

I'm struggling to even write this comment while my family is nattering away in the next room, fuck writing code while people talk
