Fall of Western civilization

Imagine opening a Huel restaurant.
Only so much beefcake to go around.
-
Fast Food use to be cheap and marketed to kids. The food itself never changed, but now it's expensive and marketed to adults.
The food is definitely worse.
-
honestly depending on the day I might appreciate a nutrient paste dispenser at my workplace.
Don't ask what goes in there though.
-
Working from home I drink Huel when I go too far down a (programming) rabbit hole.
Theres better less silicon valley inflected tools for that.

Nuggets are't full of gristle anymore
Hamburgers haven't changed, maybe the loss of the heat-proof styrofoam packaging.
Fries are cooked in peanut oil instead of beef tallow, but they added beef flavoring to them.
Burger king was better back then, but I don't think McD was notably different IMO.

'I would like a sausage in my bun!'

Every restaurant is a sterile, generic, corporate mess now. No identity. Taco Bell and McDonald’s and Pizza Hut, etc all look the same now
-
And all of this because we let the gays have rights. Incredible. Damn woke dei liberals.
Taco trucks everywhere and not a Cracker Barrel in sight!

wrote last edited by [email protected]Nah bro, the Big Mac used to be an actual, like, burger. It looked way more like it does on the commercials and the ingredients, while not fresh, were definitely better. I had one a couple months ago and just... nope!
I'm a big In-n-Out fan now. Fresh shit, cooked right now. Yes, I have to wait but that's OK. Fresh shit, cooked right now. Anyone who doesn't like their fries doesn't like fresh potatoes fried in oil. Maybe try them "light well".

Ill fitting shirt off of the discount rack, generic suit pants and a Timex? C'mon. Whoever that is needs to step up their game to hawk donuts.

The burgers and everything else on their menu have all changed significantly many times over the years.

Rice, mostly. Also corn, the occasional muffalo, and a mountain of corpses.
wait this isn't the rimworld community

Now wait a minute you're starting to win me over to this "woke" stuff... Did you say tacos?

we used to have mac tonight at a piano, muzak, black ceiling tiles and club lighting. now it's the same remodeled mckitchen as everywhere else, stuffing delivery orders into bags and letting the in-person experience go to shit.
Much better now imo. I don't need to sit on goofy shit to eat my cardboard-bun-burger with below-average-quality-meat and i-can't-believe-it's-not-cheese. I just want a chair or bench to sit on.
