I really just want to dump my opinion: I think Last of Us is overrated as hell. I mean the story is okay, but compared to anything that's on TV, it would be average at best. The gameplay consists of clunky third-person shooter gameplay and walking around and pressing a button to pick up some trash. The second game is even worse about this because the only saving grace, the good story, is gone and has been nuked from high orbit and replaced by some sort of college teen melodrama. The game is ridiculously padded out by even more of the "click the button to open a shelf" sections. I mean the combat has been significantly improved in contrast to the second game but what's there is so far and few between compared to everything else it may as well just be gone.

i swear to god it has places where it just spawns in a tiger out of nowhere, specifically to kill you
