Seriously. It's peak reddit behavior. Part of what made lemmy feel like such a breath of fresh air when I migrated was the distinct lack of karma-farm-esque posts. I'm unfortunately speaking in the past tense now.

But, yeah they're all annoying after the 3rd one, but it'll blow over in a week or so. All that will remain are obscure references about Sheeran sharing beans in jeans on a plane.

Probably 80% of the ed posts were made by a couple accounts, rest were just one-offs having fun. I don't care if people post one, but I blocked the ones that posted too many eds.
