Little miracles

To be honest, I am vegan for over 12 years and my main source of protein at the moment is Tofu (I airfry a whole diced package, 20g protein per 200g), or eat soy chunks, soaked in hot water and pan fried (from the local indian store, 19g protein per 40g dry chunks). Also nice is gluten powder (also called seitan), which is wheat protein isolate and is excellent to be transformed into your own meat substitute (also sausages). That has 24g protein per 30g of dry mass, but for consistency I'd recommend mixing it with something like crushed beans or chickpeas, otherwise it'll be very elastic.
Otherwise I love the taste of the Orgain plant based protein, and of course, as mentioned by other people, eating a variety of lentils, beans, nuts or chickpeas helps to get the extra you need (the first paragraph is to fill up in the evening if you didn't have enough during the day)

Out of all music genres to pick, why would you wear it to the farthest left one?
Sadly, it has been going on for pretty much as long as punk has been around, and it doesn't really have a single contributing factor.
In the US 80s hardcore was made up mainly of white angry teens and young adults. Most weren't racist but some were. And the low entry of musicianship needed to get into punk made it easy to start a band, so some Nazi bands started forming. The fans of these band thought they would be welcome at other punk shows, but were wrong. That's why the Dead Kennedy's wrote the song "Nazi Punk Fuck Off".
In England skinheads have been around since the 60s but where not the racist skinheads you think of today. It was more of a working class subculture. Oi punk evolved from this subculture, so as fascist started adopting skinhead culture the music came with it. It also doesn't help that some early punks would wear Nazi symbols to be provocative, even if they didn't believe in the ideology.
Even in the 90s, when I was a teen and active in the local punk community Nazi's would show up to a show every now and then. It always ended up with them getting drug outside and getting the shit kicked out of them. Even if they weren't at the show if there was a sighting of Nazi's nearby people would go running to kick the shit out of them. Yet, every few months it's like they expected something else to happen when and would show up again.
My only thought on why this shit is still happening 30-40 years later, is that you have to be a fucking moron to be a Nazi, so it's not like they would have the best judgement when it comes to where they are welcome.

Outing myself as a vegan here, but w/e.
Don't eat meat, eat protein and work out 3 days a week or more (if you can)! And specially if you're vegetarian or vegan, don't hesitate to consume 5g creatine monohydrate per day with a shake (or however else you like to drink it).
Edit: I forgot to write it, but obviously, if you're a woman or anything in between, you should also work out. We all should be strengthening our bodies and minds.
Got no problems with vegans as long as they aren't getting self righteous and treating non-vegans as sub human. For instance, That Vegan Teacher is a massive piece of shit who actively harms vegans with her actions.

What was the shirt?
Giant SS logo on the back. Unmistakeable.
Somewhat related- there's a brand called Simply Southern that's had some pretty big popularity among a certain demographic. My sister in law came over once with a tie dyed shirt from them on and I was like let me take a look at that. On the back it said Simply Southern, but in between the words was a slanted SS. Crypto Nazi shit. She didn't even know it was there.

Johnny Ramone was very hard right. Even praised Regan and Bush during the Ramones Rock & Roll Hall in fame speech. The Ramones song "The KKK Took My Baby Away" was Joey Ramone taking a dig at Johnny for stealing Linda Ramone from him.

Not really related, but where did this whole workout trend come from? What is the issue with traditional sports?

Every group of white supremacists should film themselves being pummeled in order to change recruitment numbers. Any sane mind would appreciate them having that strategy nationwide.
Pretty sure this goes for more than the white a holes

What a great movie. Patrick Stewart should play more villains.
Indeed and Macon Blair and Jeremy Saulnier need to do more movies together, check out their movie Blue Ruin if you liked Green Room

Yeah, oats are really great an hour before a workout, or if you still have capacity for carbs, but all other sources have less carbs per protein.

I think part of it is to reclaim masculinity (big muscle = very man), but of course there's nothing wrong with other sports! Just stay active!

I guarantee you they know what the symbols mean. Why would you wear a shirt with a symbol you didn't understand? Let alone getting them as tattoos.
wrote on last edited by [email protected]I have a shirt that’s a portrait of three huskeys. I don’t understand it, but I wear it because it’s hilariously corny.

I have no idea what vegan teacher youre talking about, and in my experience non-vegs feel bad just by hearing that I do actively go out of my way to not hurt innocent sentient beings.
But yes, of course you'll feel like you're doing the right thing, when you actually stop doing the wrong thing. Nothing wrong with that.
Also, the only reason the militant vegans make people so angry is, that deep down they know it's true.

You still think swastikas look cool
The real Nazis run your schoolsI feel like I'm missing context behind some of the lyrics but that line is still JUST as fitting.

According to Reddit comments he wasn’t a Nazi, but a biker. Biker gangs have a complicated history with the iconography, to the point where even the non-white groups use the symbols.
"Complicated history" of bikers aside--and we CAN toss it aside because this is today--TODAY, wearing such iconography is inexcusable. This guy 100% knows what that SS symbol represents TODAY, and chose to wear it where he did. Stop making excuses for Nazis.

He looks honestly surprised on the video.

Well, you just interested me in their biography.

Change my mind. Its more because they argue like religious people than someone genuinely trying to convince me. I genuinely do kinda agree that if you want to be as moral as possible you should be vegan. But to be entirely honest I just don't care about animal suffering that much when there are so many issues that affect people and my morality is basically completely human centric.
And inventing what is effectively used as a slur against omnivores really does diminish the idea that they are simply "doing the right thing". I am not saying that the term carnist is a slur for clarification just that in some vegan communities it is used in the same way that one would be used.
