I'm only familiar with DXM (is an anaesthetic/NMDA antagonist and it causes severe pee retention), does it mean that or the opposite and you're literally leaking?

I’m only familiar with reports of bladder damage in very heavy users, presumably months of continuous use. I want to say damage to the cells lining the bladder, with their bladders having to be removed.

Again this is from memory; one of the 6 individuals had a structural anomaly that prevented urine from contacting a portion of the bladder, and these cells were undamaged.

As your kidneys are responsible for removing the K from your bloodstream it’s reasonable to assume some potential for similar harm.

A few grams a year is unlikely to cause a problem. Always test everything you get. 50 fentanyl test strips cost $14 bucks… about the same for a single reagent test kit.

The issue is ppl do a lot and its sharp cuts up the insides is what ive heard, tolerance builds fast because ppl do wayyyy too much their first couple times, you can do the tiniest bump in the world, barely visible and still see stuff, ppl use it like coke when one bag the same weight should last you 10 times longer at least

we had a tiny ass scoop for measuring looked like a stick with a tiny tip that was the scoop, idr what size it was, insane to me how much ppl do and just go full need to be taken care of mode everytime they do it til their tolerance is so high they need a gram a night, it never even felt addictive compared to other stuff and had a great longterm afterglow which was why that confused me. (like 3months of feeling less anxious and more confident, just generally emotionally stable lol)

I think there may be something published in medical journals about this, OP could try Google Scholar for instance

*Disclaimer: Everything here is based on the pure, pharmacological, Ketamine used in medicine, not the shit you buy somewhere.
                    *
Ketamine, as long as it's pure, does not damage the kidneys per se. But it wreaks havoc on the urinary system which then can lead to kidney damage.

Ketamine does cause chronic Zystitis(think of a chronic, but often not as massively painful, UTI) and damages to the ureter. This then, in the long run, causes Hydronephrosis by dilating the ureter - which then has the potential to cause kidney damage due to a backup of urine.

Additionally Ketamine's common side effect is an increase in blood pressure that can absolutely cause kidney damage as well.

It shall be noted that this usually only occurs after using ketamine longer than one month.
