Whats the most weirdly aggressive mod removal reason you've received in your ModLog?

Reason: Low-effort garbage
Is that standard boilerplate enumerated removal reason or is that personalized?
I even took time to italicise and bold certain parts of the title
I get that Heil Honey, I'm Home is controversial but its still worthy of inquiry; even if it wasnt, I feel like thats not really a decision mods should be proactively making, thats more curation and it sort of conflicts with the spirit of Lemmy and civil dialectical discussion in general
What a joyk?!

The only removal I've ever got was that the formatting of the post didn't work well on lemmy, which is fair, if you're using jerboa, but they couldv'e asked me to change it instead of deleting the post. The content was good, it was just the formatting

It's usually just something pathetic like "trolling" because they didn't like what you said.

It was personalized. It was because I deemed the specific post in question to be low effort garbage and not worthy of any further explanation beyond the massive amount of downvotes and zero responses.

I dont really, just wondered why I wasnt getting any responses to the question

wrote last edited by [email protected]I mean, it wasnt even up for very long so thats a tad disingenuous (the downvotes notwithstanding altho that doesnt really have anything to do with whether it was lazy or not.) We can all agree
Downvotes !!= lazy/stupid/garbage
,,,per seAlso Where should it have gone, its a valid question that just happens to involve something unpopular or controversial. Its not a shitty ask because i clearly expected an objectively reasonable factual response.
Also Also How could something be lazy stupid garbage in a general ask forum and then magically ok even in something like NoStupidQuestions unless the lazy stupid garbage assumption is objectively arbitrary and perhaps overly personal?
Wouldnt the NoStupidQuestions people see what you saw and rightfully remove it under the same rationale or basis?

wrote last edited by [email protected]Fair enough, Can you answer my last question tho? The fact you're pointing out NoStupidQuestions + the much more gratuitous *MUCH more appropriate dig kind of proves my point, no?
NoStupidQuestions, much more appropriate [emphasis mine]
Why do you think the Question is (so) Lazy/Stupid/(Garbage)? Respectfully, that seems more like curating and making value judgments rather than moderating but I'm open to hearing your thoughts on why you believe thats not the case here (assumingthat chacterisation is accurate and you still stand by it)

I don't know if this was weirdly aggressive, I probably deserved this. I was banned also.

It’s called Zalgo text, just search for a Zalgo text generator.

Is it just, like
perpendicular/verticalorthogonal superimposed scriptI’m uncertain as to the mechanics behind it, but that sounds reasonable

I guess I downvoted too much? There were a lot of clickbait titles with zero description. I also upvoted quality posts

Is it just, like
perpendicular/verticalorthogonal superimposed scriptBasically it abuses the fact that Unicode allows combining of multiple characters in a single character space with offsets and rotations applied. Zalgo text basically takes a ton of random accent characters (E.g the squiggly above Spanish Ñ), which are considered their own marks, and combines them on one letter with lots of offset.

Yup! Unicode doesn't put any limits on them.
