A spherical sandwich would just be a 3-ball of air surrounded by a 2-sphere with the following layers: bread (inner), contents (middle), bread (outer). You could also have a 3-sphere sandwich â homeomorphic to a calzone which has a little 3-ball of bread in its center.

If you use 3 slices of ham in a regular sandwich, you will need 9 slices to create the scaled version of the pictured sandwich.
