He's 57. Is this what the average man looks like at 57? I'm 59 and easily look a decade younger than him. My guess is that the hard life of an ex-celebrity has aged him prematurely.

My neighbor looks a little bit worse for wear and is just a couple years older than him. My neighbor is a raging alcoholic though.

Some people age faster than others, but for sure alcohol and no sunscreen will age us faster

Alcohol definitely accelerates aging. My ex is an alcoholic, and she has not aged well.

Because everybode who's not a hero must be a villain? Total non sequitur, silly black and white thinking.

He's the godfather of RDJ's son, perhaps they did a lot of drugs together when they were younger before they got sober

I believe the joke is that Anthony Michael Hall is known for being a lovable nerd hero in 80s movies, but in his middle age, he looks a bit like Malcolm McDowell, who is known for playing the baddie in A Clockwork Orange and also in Star Trek: Generations. So.. hero to villain, like the very common expression.

Oh, aye. Though, I will note that his heel turn in Edward Scissorhands did a lot to forward his career as it was by '90.
