how does an 11 year old surrender? walk up to a border crossing and say "please relocate me" and hope they don't rifle butt her head?

I know we're probably in agreement, but this is probably suicide. I think they pretty much shoot anyone near those border crossing/checkpoints that they aren't pre-notified on.

Every country in that region sucks. Especially Iraq through Afghanistan. Let them kill each other off.

The Americans who show support for Palestine would get their heads chopped off if they visited that place. It's a bit ironic to support a country that hates Americans.

It's alright, anything to root against the Jews, who were actually involved in a genocide. And fairly recently. 6 million Jews. And people wonder why they're so defensive against attacks.

The same WW2 vets that fought the actual Nazis are getting booed today. From the few videos I've seen, I hope that's a minority of shitbags.

Hamas isn't our friend. You can't ignore Oct 7th, that was shitty in and of itself no matter if Israel provoked it or not. Israel is an ally. Palestine is not.

Fuck the people whose rooting against Israel just because Trump supports them.

I'm not here to start any fights. I've been to that region, and they really don't want any interference from the west. Especially after the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

"Let them kill each other off" is a cold way to talk about a conflict where one side is a nuclear-armed state backed by the West, and the other is a stateless people under occupation. This isn’t a fair fight—it’s a military superpower bombing refugee camps, hospitals, and UN schools while starving 2 million civilians.

You claim Palestinians would "chop heads off" Americans, but the U.S. has armed Israel for decades while it bulldozes homes, steals land, and locks millions in an open-air prison. If Palestinians hate American policy, can you blame them? Meanwhile, Israel gets billions in U.S. weapons while its politicians call for the "flattening of Gaza." Who’s really the ally here?

Yes, Hamas is brutal—but they didn’t appear out of nowhere. Decades of occupation, blockade, and apartheid radicalized people. That doesn’t justify Oct. 7, but ignoring the context is dishonest. Collective punishment—starving kids, bombing families—only creates more extremism.

And spare me the Holocaust guilt-tripping. Using Jewish suffering to justify Palestinian suffering is grotesque. Many Holocaust survivors, like those in Jewish Voice for Peace, opposed Zionism. Israel’s government includes far-right ministers who praise settlers burning Palestinian villages—are they "defending Jews" or fueling genocide?

The West props up Israel while pretending to care about "human rights." If you’ve really been to the region, you’d know: this isn’t about "rooting for Jews or Arabs." It’s about ending occupation, apartheid, and Western hypocrisy.

When I said "let them kill each other off", it was brutal. I know I went too far with that statement.

But I agree with the occupation, and western hypocrisy. It's sad to see , and it brings out the worst in humanity. Sometimes I think it's just better to start over.

I am aware that Israel has been moving against the Palestinian population for a while, and that created a vacuum, similar to Afghanistan and Iraq. Oct 7th attack may have been an offensive maneuver to thwart further Israeli attacks, but all it did was made it worse. Now Netanyahu is going to "exterminate all of the animals".

Either there needs to be intervention, by the west who usually causes such vacuums, or Israel will succeed. Cause if any other nation wages war on Israel, that's going to be a problem too.

We all live* on the same planet. Only habitable planet for light years. I've seen war and it's not worth the price.

Sometimes I just think our destruction is inevitable.

According to whom? Even Israel calls them "settlers."

Israel considers the Syrian Golan heights and large chunks of the Palestinian West Bank including Jerusalem as parts of Israel. They effectively occupy and control the entire area of Palestine.

Of course Israel considers them part of Israel. That's their alleged casus belli.

Is Hamas even still a thing? Like as far as I can tell from my armchair halfway around the world they're basically all dead. It seems to me like Hamas has been thoroughly defeated. Gaza is a wasteland and at this point I would be surprised if Hamas could muster up any type of action.

Does it really matter? Israel had the sympathy of the world after Oct. 7 and they threw it all away with their genocidal response. They've created infinitely more enemies than they've killed, and it doesn't matter if these enemies are called Hamas. Israel has guaranteed decades more violence be directed their way by whole new generations.

It's almost better to pull a doctor Bashir and just surrender. Let them relocate you and then try to survive. Is that better than just dying for nothing? You might say no because its your homeland, but at least your PEOPLE will survive?

It's a crazy situation without a good solution. I mean, other than Iseral laying the fuck off.

I love DS9, but I sincerely don't get the Dr. Bashir reference here.

Remember when he was working with the other genetically enhanced humans? They decided that surrendering would be the greatest course of action because it saved the most lives.

Federation rejected it, of course, but in the end...wormhole "gods" saved everyone.
